Konzett Gallery
A passion for art and a lively collecting activity form the basis for the program of the Konzett Gallery. In addition to a comprehensive collection of ethnographic art, the focus was initially on Viennese Actionism. The Konzett Collection, which extensively covers the work of Günter Brus, Otto Muehl, Hermann Nitsch and Rudolf Schwarzkogler, is one of the most important internationally in this field. Trough its expansion and positioning in the international art-historical context, works of earlier and simultaneous performative tendencies as well as subsequent related currents and contemporary perspectives are included. The gallery’s exhibition program follows this strategy with the aim of placing the collection in context with contemporary artistic positions.
